DeEbony LaShae Groves was born on June 16,1996 (Father’s Day) in Gallatin, Tennessee to Albert Groves and Shirl Groves-Baker.
She was a person of faith and an active member of Grace Tabernacle Christian Center, where she sang under the unction of the Holy Ghost.
DeEbony is an alumni of Gallatin High School where she actively participated in sports, and was a month away from obtaining a Bachelor’s in Social Work from Belmont University – where she was also a devoted and active member of the illustrious Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
DeEbony will always be remembered for her million-dollar smile, tender spirit and sweet nature. She transitioned from this earthly life into eternal life early Sunday morning on April 22, 2018, but will never be forgotten by those who loved and knew her.
Her love and support of others will continue on through our “Hope 4 the Future” intiative.
